Cheese! This is Autumn in front of her new bed. Well it is now in the "toddler bed" mode instead of crib. We decided to transition her and last night was her 1st night.

She came out of her room a few times early on last night but after about 30 mins she went in and fell asleep and stayed in there till morning! YEAH! I can't believe how grown up she is! She will be 2 next month and that blows my mind. After this we will be working on taking the paci away! YIKES! That scares me a little... it is just as much my crutch as it is hers. Any suggestions?

Autumn's fav thing...jumping on the bed.

Congratulations to Autumn! Some friends of mine snipped off the top of the pacifier so their son insisted they throw it away.
cute bed! way to go little lady!
She is so cute. We've loved watching her grow up. It's so much fun to watch the Caden and Autumn play together.
She is too cute! I can't believe we have kids sometimes... Try snipping the end of the passy and maybe that would work??? I don't know..Spencer doesn't do pacifers.
We waited till three to take the pacifier away and told the boys that three year olds can't have binkys and then they threw them in the trash on the morning of their birthday and we took pictures of it, then gave them presents. Alex didn't want to be three anymore when bedtime came, but we stood firm.
We just moved emily up to her big girl bed too!! It took her a couple of days to come down at night, but it's soo cute cuz of how proud of herself she was. As far as the binky goes, just brace yourself for a couple of nights of screaming. It only took my older kids maybe two days to get over it, but bedtime was hard for them, and church was hard for me. I think it took me two MONTHS worth of sundays to get over it! Good luck. Maybe just get an ipod to drown out the noise!! I use this frequently at my house. Especially in summer with all four of them running around!
